Questions

How much is a used size L road bike?

Right now the typical asking price for a used size L road bike on eBay UK is £925, across 905 Buy It Now listings, with the cheapest at £126. Groupset, frame material, age and condition all move the price, so check the typical price on each model's page.

Is it safe to buy a used road bike on eBay?

It can be, if you pay through eBay (so the Money Back Guarantee covers you), buy from sellers with good feedback, ask for the frame serial number to check it isn't stolen, and check carbon frames for cracks. We flag low-feedback sellers and bikes priced far below typical.

How do I know what size road bike I need?

Most adults ride a 50–58cm frame. Your height gets you close and your inside leg measurement gets you closer: see our road bike size guide, which links straight to bikes in your size.
